Wood Handrail Installer Lafayette Hill PA

How do you decide on your Wood Handrail Installer in the Lafayette Hill PA area? What exactly do you look for? Well for one you would expect that they would have a long track record of consistent quality (say, around 25 years... Ok, 24yrs 10 months 3 weeks and 2 days, but who's keeping track?). You'd look for a long line of dozens of happy customers year in and year out (last year, 38 to be exact, but who's counting?). You would want them to be able to handle any and all issues that will arise when you replace your stair and or rail, regardless of your stair layout, or your home's dimensions. Whether you have a scissor stair, L shape, straight run, winder treads, circular, spiral, or flared stair (to name a few), you want someone who has dealt with all these kinds of stairs. Someone who prides themselves on their ability to cater to your wishes when it comes to constructing the dream stair you envision. We install every stair and rail as if it were our own, because it is. Once I'm done and I know everything is perfect and the artwork is complete, the customer buys it off of me and him and his family get to enjoy it for decades to come, blah blah blah blah blah.... whatever! Be sure to select someone who takes pride in their work and takes their job very seriously, but themselves not so much. And therefore, since I meet the above requirements, I nominate myself as your Wood Handrail Installer of choice for Lafayette Hill PA, Wyndmoor, Gladwynne, Jenkintown, so give Ron a call for your FREE consultation ($250 value).

Iron Balusters near Main Line Philadelphia

Some New Iron Balusters near the Main Line in Philadelphia. This customer loved the look of the oak box newels with the oak handrail and the single diamond/double diamond square hammered iron balusters in oil rubbed bronze finish. She'd been looking for an iron baluster installer for a long time, and couldn't find anyone who could do the work. Luckily she kept looking, and found me. I'm Ron Hartman, and I've been a stair and rail contractor for 25 years. I transformed her foyer to her specifications. She absolutely loved it, and couldn't stop raving about it. I must say, that is nice to hear, when customers can't stop thanking you enough for a job well done. After removing the builder-grade junk rail, I installed the bottom oak plate, the posts, and then the rail. I left for a few days while the hardwood was stained and poly-urethaned, then came back and installed and secured the iron. The new carpet was scheduled to be installed in the next week, or so.

If you're desiring some Iron Balusters for your Main Line home near Philadelphia, and you live in Ardmore, Gladwynne, Havertown, Haverford, Wynnewood, Bryn Mawr, Merion, or surrounding towns, don't hesitate to give me (Ron) a call, text, or email to set up your FREE appointment.

Iron Balusters Garnet Valley PA

Iron Balusters in Garnet Valley PA. I removed the old contemporary "deck style" railing, and replaced it with this new system. This is over the post style, which is much easier on your hand while walking up and down your stair. It's also easier on the eye; it "flows", unlike the old deck style rail. I used twisted oak posts and twisted iron balusters to match, and some "S" accent balusters to set it off. If your builder messed up and put your deck rail on the inside of your house, give me a call. Let me help you make a great first impression as your friends, family, and visitors walk into your home. You can choose wood or Iron Balusters to go with your new rail in Garnet Valley PA.

New Box Newels and Handrail in Turnersville NJ

New Box Newels and Handrail in Turnersville NJ. Split level home needed an upgrade. Really nice people. All my customers are really nice people, but some are even more so. Like most of my jobs, I did most of this while they were working. Took the better part of three days to complete. I installed the nosing and capping, then the box newels, then the handrail. I left for a few days while homeowner painted and stained everything. I then came back and installed the balusters and fillet, (the very small pieces of square stock that "fills in" the gap between the square top balusters.) They had a little one on the way and needed a really safe really beautiful handrail. The dark stain on the handrail contrasts nicely with the lighter oak stair treads. The square balusters are in keeping with the vertical lines in the panels on the walls. Painting the box newels, again is in keeping with what's been done with the wall panels. If you're tired of your split-level rail, or stair, or, if you have a little one on the way, or you want to protect the little ones you have already, or you have some older folks coming over to visit your little ones, and want to give them something sturdy and beautiful to hang onto as they go up and down your stair,  call, or text Ron to schedule your no-cost consultation, at 215-694-5046. Or email him at ronstairs@verizon.net. Whether you're in Turnersville NJ or surrounding areas, whether you're in need of Box Newels, or standard newel posts, whether you need new Handrail or an entire new Staircase don't hesitate to call.

Thanks for looking,

Ron Hartman

                                                                       Ugliest

Custom Stairs and Rails in Foxchase neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. Maybe the ugliest "BEFORE" stair and rail pictures ever. An apartment building on Rhawn Street had a fire last year, and suffered extensive damage. While they were re-habbing the building, they decided to re-do the stairs and rails like they'd been wanting to do for years, even though this staircase was unaffected by the fire, and they weren't required to replace it. But they're sure glad they did. What a difference. So much safer for the residents, and visitors, and children living there. And so much easier on the eyes. The architect drew up plans, I submitted them downtown and got the permit, the framers came in and re-framed all the well openings, the drywallers immediately followed them, and we delivered the 3 staircases the next day. I had 7 guys helping me that day, we had plenty of muscle, which you surely need with solid oak commercial size stairs. I then strung all the posts, rail, and balusters, and the painters came in right behind us and painted and stained everything. Carpet arrived a few days later, and the residents have their building back, much better than it was new, back in the sixties.

If you're concerned with your apartment complexes' stair and rail issues, or even with your personal home, be sure to call/text, or email Ron in Foxchase for all your Custom Stair and Rail needs.

New Stairs and Handrail Margate-Longport

Here is a brand-new instant classic, new Stairs and Handrail in Margate-Longport. The customer here wanted over-sized, raised-panel, oak, Box Newel Posts installed on her new oak Staircase. She wanted something that would stand the test of time, and kids, and relatives, and friends, and neighbors, and in-laws, and pets, and teenagers, and parties, and holidays, and whoever else would be using her Stairway for the next 30 years. The over-sized posts are always a good choice if you're looking for extra sturdy handrail. The Charleston-style Handrail goes well with the Posts, and the Carolina-style Balusters go well with the Handrail. (Of course, that's just one mans' opinion)
The Handrail is 2 3/8" high, and 2 5/8" wide.
The Balusters are 1 3/4" wide at base, with a 3/4" top
The Newel Posts are 6 1/4" wide at the base, and 4 3/4" wide at the top
All these styles and more can be found at www.carolinastair.com ...my main supplier for last 10 years

Call 215-694-5046 to schedule an appointment with Ron the Rail-Guy. I'll walk you through all your options, ask you some questions, you ask me some questions, then, I'll prepare a proposal, email it to you, (usually next day), you say ok, when do we start, and we go from there. I'm based in the FoxChase area of Philadelphia, but I service from Princeton, to the MainLine, and from Doylestown to the Jersey Shore, and every town in between.

Most jobs can be started within 2-5 weeks, depending largely upon whether you want something that's in stock, or if you want something that's a little more custom. Lead time is also effected by time of year, obviously. Oct-Dec tends to be my busiest time, because many folks want to spruce up their houses for the inevitable holiday parties. Jan-Mar is historically slow, so you tend to get quicker service, just because there are less jobs on the schedule.

This is a brand-new home, obviously, but I also replace many old, tired, ugly, creaky, Stairs and Handrails, and make them better than new.
Call/Text 215-694-5046, or email me at ronstairs@verizon.net to schedule your appointment today, and enjoy your new Stair and Handrail, very soon.
