New Construction Shore House Custom Stairs Box Newels and Handrails Ventnor NJ
Pictured
is a New Construction Shore House project with Custom Stairs, Box Newels and Handrails in Ventnor NJ. This stair and rail was for a designer/builder in Ventnor who was building her own house. She saw a picture online and said “This
is what I want”. So, that’s what she got. Classic look with stained treads and
handrail and painted posts and risers and trim. I wish I could show rest of
house, because she did a phenomenal job. I must say most, if not all designers
are worth their salt when it comes to the wow factor. You can definitely tell
when home has been professionally
decorated, versus one that‘s been done by homeowners

Wavy Iron Balusters Ocean City NJ. This was a new rail and iron baluster makeover in a couple's summer shore house. The old rail was really wimpy, note the very thin starting post in upper before picture. The couple have many grandchildren running around the house all summer and she was concerned about safety. You can tell the wife is an artist because she picked out the "wavy" balusters that is in keeping with the nautical theme of the shore house. They spent many years living abroad, and now that they're retired they can have their big family over the house and not have to worry about the old railing being a safety hazard. I'm always amazed at how amazed folks are at how sturdy our rails are when we're all done. They say things like, "I didn't know that rails could be this strong wow!" I guess people get used to flimsy construction everywhere they go, and assume that's just how it is. It's still satisfying to hear things like that at the end of every job even after 26 years and thousands of stairs and rails later. So, if you want your very own wavy iron balusters and you live in Ocean City NJ, or other shore towns like Margate, Ventnor, Wildwood, Longport, Strathmere, Sea Isle City, Avalon, or Stone Harbor, then give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 or email him at 45stairman@gmail.com and schedule your FREE consultation and learn all about the many options you have to beautify and customize your stair and rail.

Brazillian Cherry Staircase at Jersey Shore House
Brazillian Cherry Staircase at Jersey Shore House. These homeowners were really nice. Empty nesters who lived in this house for 30 years and always wanted to remodel the stair. The kids are gone, and they decided to do this one last project they'd put off for a long time. He is really handy and he basically remodeled the whole house himself except for this last project. He found me online, and we had a great conversation and he told me about his vision he had for the space, and we went to work to make it happen. I'm really pleased that he's really pleased. He's somewhat of a perfectionist, so I think he was sweating a little bit in the beginning, but on second and third day you could tell he relaxed a bit and was really happy that we did exactly what he wanted and it turned out so well. And I have to give him the credit for doing the woodwork trim on the underside of the stair. He did a really good job, and it makes a big difference. Be sure to give Ron Hartman a call on his cell at 215-694-5046 to schedule your very own personal consultation (a $250 value) to discuss the options that are available to you, or if this is exactly what you want, just let me know that you're ready for your very own Brazillian Cherry Staircase at your Jersey Shore House.

New Stairs and Handrail Margate-Longport
Here is a brand-new instant classic, new Stairs and Handrail in Margate-Longport. The customer here wanted over-sized, raised-panel, oak, Box Newel Posts installed on her new oak Staircase. She wanted something that would stand the test of time, and kids, and relatives, and friends, and neighbors, and in-laws, and pets, and teenagers, and parties, and holidays, and whoever else would be using her Stairway for the next 30 years. The over-sized posts are always a good choice if you're looking for extra sturdy handrail. The Charleston-style Handrail goes well with the Posts, and the Carolina-style Balusters go well with the Handrail. (Of course, that's just one mans' opinion)
The Handrail is 2 3/8" high, and 2 5/8" wide.
The Balusters are 1 3/4" wide at base, with a 3/4" top
The Newel Posts are 6 1/4" wide at the base, and 4 3/4" wide at the top
All these styles and more can be found at www.carolinastair.com ...my main supplier for last 10 years
Call 215-694-5046 to schedule an appointment with Ron the Rail-Guy. I'll walk you through all your options, ask you some questions, you ask me some questions, then, I'll prepare a proposal, email it to you, (usually next day), you say ok, when do we start, and we go from there. I'm based in the FoxChase area of Philadelphia, but I service from Princeton, to the MainLine, and from Doylestown to the Jersey Shore, and every town in between.
Most jobs can be started within 2-5 weeks, depending largely upon whether you want something that's in stock, or if you want something that's a little more custom. Lead time is also effected by time of year, obviously. Oct-Dec tends to be my busiest time, because many folks want to spruce up their houses for the inevitable holiday parties. Jan-Mar is historically slow, so you tend to get quicker service, just because there are less jobs on the schedule.
This is a brand-new home, obviously, but I also replace many old, tired, ugly, creaky, Stairs and Handrails, and make them better than new.
Call/Text 215-694-5046, or email me at ronstairs@verizon.net to schedule your appointment today, and enjoy your new Stair and Handrail, very soon.
