Just replaced builder-grade painted balusters with Iron Balusters in Mullica Hill NJ. Customer saw a design she liked somewhere in the internet galaxy, (might have been Pinterest), and asked me if she could have the same. So, we cut out all the old wood, and installed her new iron balusters. Installation took us two days. 200 balusters removed and replaced and secured in place. What a difference the iron makes with the overall look and feel as you walk in her house now. She loves it, and I must say, I agree with her. She opted for the iron shoes top and bottom of each baluster. Not everyone does that. Many pictures you see with Iron Balusters, there are no shoes up top. Just a different look. New Box Newels and Handrail in Turnersville NJ

New Box Newels and Handrail in Turnersville NJ. Split level home needed an upgrade. Really nice people. All my customers are really nice people, but some are even more so. Like most of my jobs, I did most of this while they were working. Took the better part of three days to complete. I installed the nosing and capping, then the box newels, then the handrail. I left for a few days while homeowner painted and stained everything. I then came back and installed the balusters and fillet, (the very small pieces of square stock that "fills in" the gap between the square top balusters.) They had a little one on the way and needed a really safe really beautiful handrail. The dark stain on the handrail contrasts nicely with the lighter oak stair treads. The square balusters are in keeping with the vertical lines in the panels on the walls. Painting the box newels, again is in keeping with what's been done with the wall panels.
