Modern Farmhouse Maple Stairs and Rails with Iron Balusters Moorestown NJ

This Modern Farmhouse Maple Stairs and Rails with Iron Balusters in Moorestown, NJ, turned out beautifully. I wish I could have taken some pictures after everything was tidied up, but here they are, despite the chaos! Nothing was where it was supposed to be since there was work happening in multiple areas of the house at the same time. And clients moved out and moved back in, more than once, during the renovation. However, the team was great to work with—very laid-back and easygoing.

This project involved a lot of work! The stairs were in real bad shape. As per usual, the previous contractor from 20 years prior, didn't do anything correctly, to say the least, so we had to reinforce and partially rebuild all the old stairs, which took a few days. then we installed the new maple treads and painted risers. After that, we moved on to the posts and rails, taking another week or so to complete. Once the painter/stainer finished everything to match the floors, we returned to install the iron balusters, which took an additional day or two. The work extended from the basement up to the third floor.

Here are some specifics about the job: the newel posts are from the 4003 series, measuring 3 1/2" square, and we needed 20 of them. The handrail is from the 6800 series, with dimensions of 2 3/8" high and 2 5/8" wide....@ 130'. The iron balusters are satin black, measuring 1/2" wide. The styles of the iron balusters used were 16.1.34 (with 1 knuckle), 16.2.1 (straight bar), and 16.1.35 (with 2 knuckles), which we alternated throughout the installation. (280 total).

We work all over the Delaware Valley, in towns like Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Marlton, Mt Laurel, Medford, Haddonfield, Ocean City, Margate, Wildwood, and everywhere in between.

Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels and Square Balusters Moorestown NJ

This Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels And Square Balusters In Moorestown NJ really makes all the difference when you walk into this warm and cozy home. I can't even remember what the rail looked like that we ripped out. I just know it was old and ugly.

This took about 3 days to complete. Super nice people. Super accommodating.

I do like the stained trim on the post. That's not standard so when ordering those it usually takes a little longer, but I think it's worth the wait.

It seems everyone is going with the square balusters these days. And I must admit, they do look good.

For this stair, we left the side stringers in place, because they were in really good shape. And we disassembled the old treads and risers and replaced with new. The house was built fairly well, so it made for an easier job for us. When you have to deal with really shoddy original work, that tends to make our work not so fun sometimes.

So, if you're in Mt Laurel, Marlton, Medford, Voorhees, Haddonfield or surrounding towns, and you're wanting to update your old foyer, be sure to give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 or email him at 45stairman@gmail.com for your FREE consultation and you can pick out your own Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels and Square Balusters like the one here in Moorestown NJ.

Remodel Handrails Box Newels With Iron Balusters Voorhees NJ

Here's a recent Remodeled Handrail with Box Newels and contemporary handrail with Iron Balusters in Voorhees NJ. I should have taken before pictures because I can't even remember what style this customer had before we started, but I know it was ugly lol. This is the original staircase. Not every job do we replace the stair. Sometimes the original is in decent shape and just needs a refinishing, which is what we did here. Another really nice couple who let us do our job and would go out for most of the day while we did our thing. And she would leave the front door open so we could get there when we get there, because she understands how traffic goes in the Delaware Valley. It's always nice when customers understand reality, and yet don't act like your typical reality TV stars, lol. We love helping folks transform their homes into the home they've always wanted. I'm certainly no fan of the pandemic, but it definitely made my contracting life a lot easier. Folks finally allowed me to give prices from pictures that they sent via phone or email. And now everyone has no problem with it. I often still have to go in person to take real measurements, especially if we're doing anything with the stair itself, but many jobs, I show up with material and start the job, and I've never been in the house before. And, I only go to the house once the customer has already decided they want me to do the job. The price rarely changes, and if it does, it often goes down, not up.

So if you're in the market for a Remodeled Handrail with Box Newels and Iron Balusters, and you live in Voorhees NJ or surrounding towns, be sure to give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 for your FREE consultation.

Here's a great example of Custom Stairs and Rails and Iron Panels and Balusters designed to show the true beauty of the circular staircase, installed by professional Installers in Evesham NJ. With 30 years of experience in the field, we can tackle your most challenging jobs. If you can dream it, we can create it.

The homeowner here had replaced all her trim with stained hickory years earlier, and wanted the stairs and rails to match. She searched online and found me, (she typed in something like "best stair guy on the planet" or something like that lol)...we met with her and her husband, and showed her some options, and this is what she decided on. She saw a job we had done earlier, and said "that's it, that's what I want!" I love when a customer is certain about what they want. It makes my job much easier. Some folks want me to make the decision for them, and I will, but, it just takes the pressure off me if they are decisive, and have done some homework prior to meeting with me.

Note: If you're not as decisive, that's ok, we'll help you narrow down the options to what best suits your foyer, personal taste, style and budget.

To me the more educated the consumer is about stairs and rails, the better....

That is not to say, you must research for years before calling me, I'm just saying, it's better if you did at least 1 or 2 searches on Google images, or Pinterest, or someplace like that, before our appointment to get acquainted with what some of the possibilities are for your foyer/staircase.

By the way these are Tuscan Iron Panels in satin black with straight bars in between. This job took about a week to complete. And this particular job came in at under $20K. A bargain for the quality of materials, amount of work and expertise involved. (When house was built, the builder would have charged $35K for the same thing but with half the quality.)

And I think you get a lot of bang for the buck. I always say, "You're making your foyer look like a million bucks for less than $20K!!"

So, if you're anywhere near Evesham NJ and surrounding towns, and you want your very own Custom Stairs and Rails and Iron Panels and Iron Balusters professionally designed and installed by artisan Installers, then be sure to send Ron an email at 45stairman@gmail.com or call him direct at 215-694-5046 to book your FREE CONSULTATION.

Wood Handrail With Custom Tuscany Iron Baluster Supplier Installer Cherry Hill NJ

Twin Tuscany Panels

Totally New Foyer

Refinished Stair and New Handrail

Black Iron Panels

Overlooking Family Room

Satin Black Iron Panels

Tuscany Panels

Single Panel

If you're looking for a solution to your dated foyer, you may want to switch to  a Wood Handrail with some Custom Iron Panels And Balusters like we did here in Cherry Hill NJ.  A fellow contractor who does all kinds of flooring called me and said "I need some real handrails for my new house!......what can you do for me?" So I said " You won't believe this but I need some new flooring for my old house". So after a little.....ok a lot of haggling, he decided on this design, and I got all new floors throughout my house. Sometimes it's good to know other good contractors. Note the special design on the landing. Anyway, we've done lots of work for each other over the years, and it was funny that we both needed each others' expertise at about the same time. Up top we did two panels facing each other with a bar welded in the middle. There are multiple ways of working panels into your overall design. On the steps we did single panels every third tread or so. Iron panels are great, but just so you know, they tend to cost @ 10 times the price of a "normal" iron baluster which tends to be @ $8-$20 range.  These stairs were refinished and all new floors were installed throughout the house. As well as new moldings, raised panels, and beams in family room. So, if you're in Cherry Hill NJ or surrounding towns, and you're looking for some Custom Iron Panels and Balusters with your Wood Handrail, then give Ron a call at  his direct line 215-694-5046 or send an email to 45stairman@gmail.com and set up your FREE CONSULTATION to discuss your options and your desired style and timelines.

Stair Manufacturer And Iron Baluster Installers In Medford NJ

Cherry Stained Hardwood Stairs
Hammered "S" Balusters

Handrail "Over The Post" Style

Complete Stair Replacement

Old Stairs Removed And New Stair Installed In Less Than Four Hours
If you're looking for the best Stair Manufacturer And Iron Baluster Installers in and around Medford NJ, then you're in the right place. I don't want to say this job was easy, but everything went so perfectly, it was amazing. I mean, the measurements always have to be spot on, but this house needed very little trimming or cutting of existing walls, or framing, or drywall. The stair has to be built exactly to site conditions to ensure it looking better than it did when house was brand-new, (which was not done properly, and is what we're here to fix). If you're looking to by-pass the builder/general contractor, and deal direct with the contractor doing the actual work, (and save 20%-50%), then give Ron a call on his personal cell phone at 215-694-5046 and ask him any questions you may have about your existing stair and handrail issues. If you are a general contractor, or home builder, we will work with you, if you work like us and treat homeowners like you would want to be treated, and always do the job right the first time, and have very high standards. We have a very small group of contractors/builders that we'll work with. Most are clowns, and are like the builder who built your house the first time, which is to say very badly, very crookedly, very cheaply, very shabbily, very shoddily....not sure if those are real words, lol. You can also email me photos of existing conditions to help speed up the consultation process ....at 45stairman@gmail.com. At Hartman Stairs and Rails, we believe we're the best Stair Manufacturer and Iron Baluster Installers in and around Medford NJ, and surrounding towns like Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Medford Lakes, and Haddonfield.

Best Staircase And Railing Professionals in Marlton NJ

Starting From Basement Going Up

All New Stairs Built In Place

Railing Half-lapped Onto Landing Ceiling

Cherry Handrail With Painted Balusters

Cherry Box Newels With Painted Balusters

Heart-Pine Treads and Painted Risers

Hand-Built Custom Made-to-Fit Stairs

Graduated Baluster Bases (So Everything Lines Up)

Second Floor Landing

Custom  Removable Bookcases To Be Added Later
Now here's an example of  the Best Staircase and Railing Professionals at work in Marlton NJ. This job took a while to complete. We were on-site for @ 2 1/2 weeks total. We had to start and stop a few times because of other work going on around us, flooring, paint, trim, etc. But, I must say the finished product is beautiful. Most times the stair sections are built in a shop and then transported to site and anchored in place. On this job we had to build each section in place, for multiple reasons, and then install the box posts and rails, and balusters. The heart pine treads and flooring are stunning. Not something you see everyday. And the cherry posts and rails with the white square-top balusters just brings it all together. This house was re-done from top to bottom. Basically an all new house. The railing half-lapped on ceiling, I think is one of the cooler features of this job...and the cherry column to match the box newels was a nice touch as well, if I may say so myself. So, if you're in search of the Best Staircase and Railing Professionals in Marlton NJ, and surrounding towns like Moorestown, Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Medford, and Evesham, be sure to give Ron Hartman a call at 215-694-5046 to schedule your FREE consultation and get help designing your own magnificent stair and rail upgrade.
