Modern Farmhouse Maple Stairs and Rails with Iron Balusters Moorestown NJ

This Modern Farmhouse Maple Stairs and Rails with Iron Balusters in Moorestown, NJ, turned out beautifully. I wish I could have taken some pictures after everything was tidied up, but here they are, despite the chaos! Nothing was where it was supposed to be since there was work happening in multiple areas of the house at the same time. And clients moved out and moved back in, more than once, during the renovation. However, the team was great to work with—very laid-back and easygoing.

This project involved a lot of work! The stairs were in real bad shape. As per usual, the previous contractor from 20 years prior, didn't do anything correctly, to say the least, so we had to reinforce and partially rebuild all the old stairs, which took a few days. then we installed the new maple treads and painted risers. After that, we moved on to the posts and rails, taking another week or so to complete. Once the painter/stainer finished everything to match the floors, we returned to install the iron balusters, which took an additional day or two. The work extended from the basement up to the third floor.

Here are some specifics about the job: the newel posts are from the 4003 series, measuring 3 1/2" square, and we needed 20 of them. The handrail is from the 6800 series, with dimensions of 2 3/8" high and 2 5/8" wide....@ 130'. The iron balusters are satin black, measuring 1/2" wide. The styles of the iron balusters used were 16.1.34 (with 1 knuckle), 16.2.1 (straight bar), and 16.1.35 (with 2 knuckles), which we alternated throughout the installation. (280 total).

We work all over the Delaware Valley, in towns like Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Marlton, Mt Laurel, Medford, Haddonfield, Ocean City, Margate, Wildwood, and everywhere in between.

Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels and Square Balusters Moorestown NJ

This Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels And Square Balusters In Moorestown NJ really makes all the difference when you walk into this warm and cozy home. I can't even remember what the rail looked like that we ripped out. I just know it was old and ugly.

This took about 3 days to complete. Super nice people. Super accommodating.

I do like the stained trim on the post. That's not standard so when ordering those it usually takes a little longer, but I think it's worth the wait.

It seems everyone is going with the square balusters these days. And I must admit, they do look good.

For this stair, we left the side stringers in place, because they were in really good shape. And we disassembled the old treads and risers and replaced with new. The house was built fairly well, so it made for an easier job for us. When you have to deal with really shoddy original work, that tends to make our work not so fun sometimes.

So, if you're in Mt Laurel, Marlton, Medford, Voorhees, Haddonfield or surrounding towns, and you're wanting to update your old foyer, be sure to give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 or email him at 45stairman@gmail.com for your FREE consultation and you can pick out your own Traditional Oak Stair With Painted Box Newels and Square Balusters like the one here in Moorestown NJ.

Modern White Oak Rail With Box Newels And Square Balusters Ocean City NJ

Here's a great example of a Modern White Oak Hand Rails with Box Newels and Square Balusters in Ocean City NJ. I met these homeowners and they wanted a clean, square, white, shore house look for their staircase.

It takes a lot to build a new house. It takes time, patience, perseverance, focus, toughness, people skills, communication skills, and of course, money always helps. That list of what it takes could go on and on but you get the idea. When building a house decisions need to be made....often. It's best to make them thoughtfully, but relatively quickly, to keep the project moving forward. I've seen it done a million different ways in 40 years, and it's always nice to see it done well. This couple did a good job responding to questions and meeting challenges directly and deciding quickly which way to go once they heard what the options were.

I think the end result turned out really well. And now they and their family get to enjoy all our hard work for the next 40-50 years. the square box newels are really popular right now, as are the square balusters. White oak is also getting more and more popular in general, but for floors and stairs in particular.

Handrails are used every day by everyone living in a particular house. So, they must be up for the challenge of children holding onto them, and teenagers swinging on them, and old folks really leaning, and pulling on them, for 40-50 years, and staying rigid and safe for all that time.

I just did another job for a customer who runs an inner city gym for at risk youth, and he said he couldn't believe the sturdiness of the stairs and rails we installed 18 years ago, given that they were used every day by dozens of teens just about every day.

So, if you want it done right the first time, give me a call at 215-694-5046 and schedule your FREE consultation and you can get your very own White Oak Hand Rails with Box Newels and Square Balusters in Ocean City NJ.....or you can choose any style you like and we'll come install it in whatever surrounding shore town you may live in.

Wood Stair And Rail Installers Mullica Hill NJ

Mahogany Posts And Handrail with Painted Wood Balusters

Stair Replacement With Mahogany Treads And Painted Risers

I don't want to say this was an "easy" Wood Stair And Rail job by professional Installers in Mullica Hill NJ, but this is as close as it gets to "easy" in the stair and rail replacement world. These homeowners went on vacation and we scheduled the stair install for that week. They were super nice people and accommodating in every way. Stairs were out and new one was installed by @ noon. We then started rail install and finished it next day. We always leave the balusters out till painter is done staining and painting everything, then we come back and do the baluster install and we're done. When replacing anything, but especially stairs, it always comes down to precise measurements. If you get the measurements right, it makes the job "easier". And after 30 years of doing this, I'm always looking for ways to make my life (and the customers' life, obviously) a little easier. They went with mahogany treads and rail and posts and painted risers and stringers. I love mahogany for the look and the finish, and it's easy to work with. Some say we're easy to work with. If you need a new Wood Stair or Rail, and you're looking for some professional Installers in Mullica Hill or surrounding towns to do it the "easy" way... then give us a call at 215-694-5046 to schedule your FREE consultation.

Remodel Handrails Box Newels With Iron Balusters Voorhees NJ

Here's a recent Remodeled Handrail with Box Newels and contemporary handrail with Iron Balusters in Voorhees NJ. I should have taken before pictures because I can't even remember what style this customer had before we started, but I know it was ugly lol. This is the original staircase. Not every job do we replace the stair. Sometimes the original is in decent shape and just needs a refinishing, which is what we did here. Another really nice couple who let us do our job and would go out for most of the day while we did our thing. And she would leave the front door open so we could get there when we get there, because she understands how traffic goes in the Delaware Valley. It's always nice when customers understand reality, and yet don't act like your typical reality TV stars, lol. We love helping folks transform their homes into the home they've always wanted. I'm certainly no fan of the pandemic, but it definitely made my contracting life a lot easier. Folks finally allowed me to give prices from pictures that they sent via phone or email. And now everyone has no problem with it. I often still have to go in person to take real measurements, especially if we're doing anything with the stair itself, but many jobs, I show up with material and start the job, and I've never been in the house before. And, I only go to the house once the customer has already decided they want me to do the job. The price rarely changes, and if it does, it often goes down, not up.

So if you're in the market for a Remodeled Handrail with Box Newels and Iron Balusters, and you live in Voorhees NJ or surrounding towns, be sure to give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 for your FREE consultation.

New Hardwood Stairs and Handrails with Wood Balusters In Cherry Hill NJ

All New Hardwood Stairs and Handrails with Traditional Wood Balusters in Cherry Hill NJ. This was a project the homeowner had wanted to do since the day she moved in......20 YEARS ago. So she had a file that she'd been collecting for 20 YEARS. I've had some customers who had decent sized folders for research on design ideas, colors, post and baluster styles, etc, but nobody came close to her file size. It was fantastic. I've never met a homeowner who knew more about stairs and rails than her....in 30 years of doing this. She knew every part of that stairwell....stringers, returns, risers, nosings, volutes, and on and on. I don't expect anyone to know anything about my profession. Because so few actually do. So when you run into anyone, let alone a customer who knows the lingo, it's almost shocking. But she was great. She knew what she wanted, communicated that to us and basically gave us the house to let us do our thing. She could not be more happy. Her mother or mother-in-law was staying with them for a few days and made us some banana bread which was fantastic. That's a pretty rare treat, old school baking as a bonus.

That being said, just because you may not know anything about stair and rail terminology, don't let that stop you from calling. You don't have to have a dozen folders of research on stairs and rails. When you take your car to the dealer, you don't have to know everything the mechanic knows. And you don't have to wait 20 YEARS. I'm available this year. Now is the time. Cape Diem! and you know the rest.

Take advantage of our 30 years of experience doing this every day. Your stair and handrail issues can be taken care of  in a very short time. This isn't a 6 month long project. It's usually a 6 days long project. give or take a few days.

So, whether you're in Bucks, Montgomery, Burlington, or Camden counties, and live in towns like
Moorestown, Haddonfield, Marlton, Mt Laurel, Medford, etc, be sure to give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 and schedule your FREE CONSULTATION and you can have your very own New Hardwood Stairs and Handrails with Wood Balusters like the job we we did here in Cherry Hill NJ.

Forget home advisors Hire THE Best Stairs And Rails And Iron Balusters Installers In Mt Laurel NJ

This is how the Best Stair and Rail and Iron Baluster Installers do it in Mt Laurel. NJ. Here's a great example of what your foyer could look like. All new flared stair with upper radius balcony really setting it off. Iron balusters with just enough fancy to satisfy your eyes and just enough practical to satisfy your heart.

These were some of the easiest people to work with. Super nice. They knew what they wanted and let us do our thing to make it happen. I love it when the homeowner asks, can we do that? You can do that? And you say absolutely! We've done this a thousand times! And that's not too far fetched. We've done @ 50-100 projects a year for 30 years. Every layout, every baluster, every post, every rail, every type of wood species, you've ever seen, in just about every town in the Delaware Valley, in just about every development...we've created a stair and or rail at least once. This took about a week. Old stair out....@2-3 hours... New stair in..@ 2-3 hours. New rails in...@ 3-4 days. Then they needed new floors, stain, paint, trim, etc. Then we came back and installed the iron balusters in @ 4-5 hours.

So if your stair or rail isn't all it could be, or all you want it to be, forget the home advisors that "verify" all of their contractors...by checking their phone number and ensuring their credit card payment went through. They're about as verified for highly skilled work as your typical fast food employee. Forget the national database scammers and go with the local pro who's been doing stairs and rails for 30 years.

So if you're in Mt Laurel or surrounding towns and you want your foyer looking great again, call the Best Stairs and Rails and Iron Baluster Installers around at 215-694-5046 and ask for Ron, or send him a text at same number, or shoot him an email at 45stairman@gmail.com.
