So I said " You won't believe this but I need some new flooring for my old house". So after a little.....ok a lot of haggling, he decided on this design, and I got all new floors throughout my house. Anyway, we've done lots of work for each other over the years, and it was funny that we both needed each others' expertise at about the same time. Up top we did two panels facing each other with a bar welded in the middle. There are multiple ways of working panels into your overall design. On the steps we did single panels every third tread or so. Iron panels are great, but just so you know, they tend to cost @ 10 times the price of a "normal" iron baluster which tends to be @ $8-$20 range.  These stairs were refinished and all new floors were installed throughout the house. As well as new moldings, raised panels, and beams in family room. New Stair and Handrail Washington Twp NJ

These folks were real happy with their New Stair and Handrail in Washington Township NJ. This job was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. This couple was so nice, and considerate. A real pleasure to work for. They got my number from an old school buddy, Doug Houston, who did all the interior trim you see. Crown molding, raised panels, chair rail, new door trim, and bigger base throughout. As you can see from the photos, that's why we used to call him "The Man." He's a great trim carpenter and an excellent craftsman.

Painted box newels with mahogany post caps, and painted square balusters, and mahogany handrail really makes a big difference when walking into their foyer now. Remodel Stair and Rail in South Jersey

Here's a stair and rail remodel job we recently completed in Haddon Township, New Jersey. We used 6900 series handrail. The posts are the 4410R, and the 4442R series, the treads and stair cap (the wide chute board the balusters sit in) all done in maple, with iron balusters, to complete the dramatic transformation.
