These folks were real happy with their New Stair and Handrail in Washington Township NJ. This job was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. This couple was so nice, and considerate. A real pleasure to work for. They got my number from an old school buddy, Doug Houston, who did all the interior trim you see. Crown molding, raised panels, chair rail, new door trim, and bigger base throughout. As you can see from the photos, that's why we used to call him "The Man." He's a great trim carpenter and an excellent craftsman.

Painted box newels with mahogany post caps, and painted square balusters, and mahogany handrail really makes a big difference when walking into their foyer now. With all the trim details around it, the stair is the focal point it should be instead of the eyesore it used to be. Grand, Double Open, Oak, Circular Stair and Rail in Washington Twp. NJ. Simple, yet elegant Iron Balusters provide old- world charm and sophistication to this familys' living room and foyer.This was fun to install. There's nothing quite like a full, stand-alone, hardwood, circular stair to make a dramatic first impression. Notice the long span on outside radius of stair with no newel post to act as an anchor like you have in corners and at beginning and ending points of railing. But, what gives the long span of rail it's sturdiness and rigidity, is the radius itself. If your house isn't this grand, that's okay, mine isn't either...yet.
