Here's another fine example of what your local professional Wood Stair and Handrail Installer in Huntingdon Valley PA, can do for your home. The existing stair was in fairly good condition, so homeowner decided to save it and have it refinished. The existing iron rail was something out of 1974 when house was built. If I find a before photo I'll be sure to post it here, it was hideous. She chose a simple yet elegant design, which I think fits the space perfectly. And, I think the natural finish goes well with the floors that were also refinished. We had to template the existing staircase to be able to copy the radius of the stair exactly, so that our rail would fit exactly, so that when we installed the posts and balusters everything fit, well, you guessed it...exactly. Two days to install, in and out, another happy homeowner. If your circular stair handrail is loose as a goose, and you're afraid to let folks walk up or down without cautioning them not to use your rail, (because it would be safer) then maybe it's time you called Ron, your local professional Wood Stair and Rail Installer in Huntingdon Valley PA, and schedule your FREE consultation ($250 value), and take advantage of his 25 years of experience.

Wood Staircase Handrail Baluster Installer In Northeast Philadelphia
Wood Staircase Handrail Baluster Installer In Northeast Philadelphia. This is in a home near Holmes Circle in Northeast Philadelphia. The old staircase was dangerous. The treads were too small, and they were very loose, and starting to come apart, the rail was loose, and rickety, and the balusters were loose and falling out, I'm sure you get the picture. So we gutted the old stair and rail and replaced it with this brand new, solid, durable, beautiful, stained, oak hardwood stair and rail. This leads down to their basement they set up as the kids' playroom. The house did not allow for carrying a whole new staircase through the house and down the stairs, so we had to bring all the materials down to the basement, and build the new set of steps right there, rip out the old stair, then slide the new staircase in place. It fit like a glove, if I do say so myself. Now the homeowners don't worry about their young boys falling off the side of the stair, while heading downstairs to play. If you're living with any of these unsafe conditions, anywhere in the Northeast section of Philadelphia, like Somerton, Fox Chase, Bustleton, etc, or in neighboring towns like Rockledge, Elkins Park, Jenkintown, or Huntingdon Valley, don't hesitate to give me a call to set up your FREE consultation. With 25 years experience, I'll be your Wood Staircase Handrail Baluster Installer of choice, in Northeast Philadelphia, and surrounding areas.
Ron Hartman, your local wood stair and rail specialist, lives in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, near Rhawn and Verree.

Iron Balusters Huntingdon Valley PA
Here's a nice example of what's possible with Iron Balusters in Huntingdon Valley PA. This customer had just bought this nice house but wanted to "freshen up the place a bit" before she moved in. The builder grade wood balusters "had to go." She wanted to add some elegance to her new house, (not to mention the great added value when selling the property), without breaking the bank. And swapping out the old wood balusters for new iron pieces is a great way to do that. The existing posts and handrail were in good shape and installed well originally, and she liked them, so we kept them in place. We went over several design choices that were possible, given the spaces she was working with, and we, okay, she, came up with this. It's a nice look, not too busy, not too austere, and gives you a nice visual throughout the foyer/hallway area of the house. She went with satin black, which is a good universal color, for most people, especially if you don't know for sure how long you're going to be living in a particular house. Oil rubbed bronze, oil rubbed copper, continue to be very popular color choices as well.
So, if you're tired of your old, wooden balusters, that may be loose, or chipped, or broken, or just not the look you want for your home anymore, give me a call, text, or email. If you live in Huntingdon Valley, or any of the surrounding towns, like Rockledge, or Southampton, or Willow Grove, Dresher, Horsham, Glenside, Abington, Feasterville, or Richboro, I'd love to install your new Iron Balusters for you and give your home that touch of elegance you've been looking for.
