Replace Handrail Haddonfield NJ
Replace your old Handrail in Haddonfield NJ. The new homeowners had all the floors resurfaced and stained and wanted the old rail replaced to match the floors. The original rail was too low, and too weak and shaky, and too ugly. There wasn't a lot to love about it. So, I raised the new rail to the correct heights...34" on the rake rail, and 36" on the level rail. New posts, new balusters, and new rail. The stair was in pretty good shape, structurally, so, they sanded them with the rest of the floors. We had to template the curve on the bottom two treads, so we could have the rail made to match exactly. If you're tired of your old, dilapidated staircase, or handrail, or both, give me a call. I've Replaced many of your neighbors' Handrails in Haddonfield NJ, but there are many more that still need my help. If you're one of them, don't hesitate to give me a call or text at 215-694-5046. Or shoot me an email at ronstairs@verizon.net. Heck, if you're really old school, send me a fax at 215-745-1464. My old fax machine still works, but I must say, I don't get as many as I used to.
Of course, I also Replace Handrails in all the surrounding towns as well, Collingswood, Haddon Heights, Cherry Hill, Westmont, Voorhees, Marlton, Mt Laurel, Moorestown, Maple Shade, Pennsauken, Medford, etc.
Thanks for looking,

New Stairs and Rails in Philadelphia
Here's a fine example of a New Stair and Rail replacement in Philadelphia. We completely removed old staircases and handrails, and re-framed new openings for the brand-new shiny, rock-solid oak stairs to fit right in place. Old stairs were very steep and had a very shallow step. Very dangerous. Now stairs and rails are up to code and very comfortable to walk up and down, and much safer for the children. This is on Race St near the Art Museum. Working in the city does pose some unique challenges, but it's definitely worth it when you're all done and the customer is loving their new stair and rail. And you know they'll be enjoying it for the next twenty to thirty years. Do you have an unsafe stair situation? Has anyone fallen down your stairs? I sure hope not. But, if they have, or you have, then you should get your stairs and rails checked out by a qualified Philadelphia area stair builder.

New Oak Handrail In Moorestown NJ
New Oak Handrail in Moorestown NJ. We left the oversized starting step and the stair treads intact.
Homeowner wanted a safer and more user-friendly, (and beautiful) handrail than the one that was original to the house, which was in bad shape. We left the posts also, but extended them to raise the rail 3-4 inches to bring it up to the required 34" from edge of stair nosing. We then installed the new rail "over-the-post" style. All new balusters freshly painted and secured, with a darker stain on the new rail gives a nice contrast to the lighter colored stair treads.
Whatever your Stair or Rail needs, feel free to give me a call to schedule your in-home consultation. I've been restoring stairs and rails back to their original glory for over 20 years all over the Delaware Valley.

Wood Handrail Post Stair in Chestnut Hill
Wood Handrail, Post, Stair, in Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. This house has a main stair, a back stair, a back basement stair, and they all have nice posts, rail, and balusters. We went with the all white underneath, (painted posts and balusters) and stained handrail. And stained treads, with painted risers and stringers. This was a new house, so they'll be able to enjoy this rail for the next 20 years. This is what a high-quality job looks, and feels like. You, and your whole family could slide down these rails, because they're solid as a rock, and not going anywhere anytime soon.
So, be sure you hire a competent, high-quality contractor, if you want a competent, high-quality job. If that's what you're looking for, I know just the guy. If you're in need of a new Wood Handrail, Post, or Stair, in or around Chestnut Hill, give Ron a call to set up your FREE consultation to learn about the options and selections that are available to you.

New Handrail Cherry Hill NJ
Here is a fine example of a New Handrail in Cherry Hill, NJ, with square top Wood Balusters with the classic Colonial Oak Handrail on top. This customer is an architect, so he naturally wanted a little more input on design than your average homeowner, so he drew the post he wanted, and I gave it to my post turner/manufacturer, and he created the post based on the drawings and he now has his very own post style that no one else has. Very cool. He stained the rail and posts himself and painted the balusters, also. The normal process, is, I come in and remove the old rail, and install the new posts and handrail, then he stains and paints everything, then I come back in a week or so, and install the balusters. I do that to make it easier for the painter, because he doesn't have to stain around every baluster, saving him lots of time.
So, If you're in Cherry Hill, or Marlton, or Mt Laurel, or Moorestown, or Haddonfield, or the Mainline, or Richboro, or Newtown, or anywhere in between, give Ron a call, to schedule your FREE consultation, and learn about your Handrail and Staircase Replacement, or upgrade options.
