Wood Handrail Post Stair in Chestnut Hill

Wood Handrail, Post, Stair, in Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. This house has a main stair, a back stair, a back basement stair, and they all have nice posts, rail, and balusters. We went with the all white underneath, (painted posts and balusters) and stained handrail. And stained treads, with painted risers and stringers. This was a new house, so they'll be able to enjoy this rail for the next 20 years. This is what a high-quality job looks, and feels like. You, and your whole family could slide down these rails, because they're solid as a rock, and not going anywhere anytime soon.

So, be sure you hire a competent, high-quality contractor, if you want a competent, high-quality job. If that's what you're looking for, I know just the guy. If you're in need of a new Wood Handrail, Post, or Stair, in or around Chestnut Hill, give Ron a call to set up your FREE consultation to learn about the options and selections that are available to you.

New Handrail Cherry Hill NJ

Here is a fine example of a New Handrail in Cherry Hill, NJ, with square top Wood Balusters with the classic Colonial  Oak Handrail on top. This customer is an architect, so he naturally wanted a little more input on design than your average homeowner, so he drew the post he wanted, and I gave it to my post turner/manufacturer, and he created the post based on the drawings and he now has his very own post style that no one else has. Very cool. He stained the rail and posts himself and painted the balusters, also. The normal process, is, I come in and remove the old rail, and install the new posts and handrail, then he stains and paints everything, then I come back in a week or so, and install the balusters. I do that to make it easier for the painter, because he doesn't have to stain around every baluster, saving him lots of time.

So, If you're in Cherry Hill, or Marlton, or Mt Laurel, or Moorestown, or Haddonfield, or the Mainline, or Richboro, or Newtown, or anywhere in between, give Ron a call, to schedule your FREE consultation, and learn about your Handrail and Staircase Replacement, or upgrade options.

Iron Balusters and New Handrail New Hope PA

All New Posts Handrail and Iron Balusters in New Hope PA. This homeowner wanted her Stairs modified, by removing the existing double bullnose starting step, and replacing it with a square tread to match the style of post she picked out. We sanded the original finish off, and restained and polyurethaned the treads and risers to match the stain on the new Rail and Posts. My painter came in and painted the stringers, trim moldings,  stained the rail and posts, and touched up the walls where the original rail had been attached.  The Iron Balusters really made the foyer become more in keeping with the style of the rest of the house. She LOVES it. If you're tired of your old Railing, Posts, Balusters, Treads, or entire Staircase, call Ron, to schedule your FREE consultation, and learn about your Stair Replacement/update options.

Iron Balusters New Handrail in New Hope PA. This example is in one of my favorite towns/areas in Bucks County. If you're not in love with your stair or rail, it's time to call the stair and rail makeover specialist, and begin to design the foyer you've always wanted. It will add considerable value to your home, and when your daughter comes down those stairs on prom night, you're going to want her date to be so impressed, that he stops, stares, and says, "Wow, your stairs and rails are flippin sweet, GOSH!...Hey Mr Smith, would it be ok if your daughter and I just hung out here for the evening and skipped the prom?" Ya never know, it could happen. So, if you want to replace the  wood balusters on your stairway, and are in need of the best stair contractor around, then give me a call, and we'll get started on your own project that could include a New Handrail with Iron Balusters. Whether you're in or around the New Hope PA area, be sure to give Ron Hartman a call/text on his cell.

Stairway Renovation Villanova PA, New Stair and Rail

Stairway Renovation in Villanova Pa. We removed original staircase, and rail, and balusters. Owner wanted foyer opened up to 3rd floor, so we built him a new 17 rise, straight-run staircase over top of the replacement "scissor stair" from 1st to 2nd floor. We used Oak Handrail, the 6800 Charleston from Carolinastair. Newel posts are 1600 series with matching 5015 balusters. Lots of white contrasts nicely with the dark stain on the treads and handrail. A Bullnose starting step (cut out of photo) with volute (the round rail at bottom) added a nice finishing touch to design. For all your Stairway Renovation projects in Villanova PA, and surrounding towns, let us transform your entrance into a Grand Entrance.

New Stairs and Handrail Margate-Longport

Here is a brand-new instant classic, new Stairs and Handrail in Margate-Longport. The customer here wanted over-sized, raised-panel, oak, Box Newel Posts installed on her new oak Staircase. She wanted something that would stand the test of time, and kids, and relatives, and friends, and neighbors, and in-laws, and pets, and teenagers, and parties, and holidays, and whoever else would be using her Stairway for the next 30 years. The over-sized posts are always a good choice if you're looking for extra sturdy handrail. The Charleston-style Handrail goes well with the Posts, and the Carolina-style Balusters go well with the Handrail. (Of course, that's just one mans' opinion)
The Handrail is 2 3/8" high, and 2 5/8" wide.
The Balusters are 1 3/4" wide at base, with a 3/4" top
The Newel Posts are 6 1/4" wide at the base, and 4 3/4" wide at the top
All these styles and more can be found at www.carolinastair.com ...my main supplier for last 10 years

Call 215-694-5046 to schedule an appointment with Ron the Rail-Guy. I'll walk you through all your options, ask you some questions, you ask me some questions, then, I'll prepare a proposal, email it to you, (usually next day), you say ok, when do we start, and we go from there. I'm based in the FoxChase area of Philadelphia, but I service from Princeton, to the MainLine, and from Doylestown to the Jersey Shore, and every town in between.

Most jobs can be started within 2-5 weeks, depending largely upon whether you want something that's in stock, or if you want something that's a little more custom. Lead time is also effected by time of year, obviously. Oct-Dec tends to be my busiest time, because many folks want to spruce up their houses for the inevitable holiday parties. Jan-Mar is historically slow, so you tend to get quicker service, just because there are less jobs on the schedule.

This is a brand-new home, obviously, but I also replace many old, tired, ugly, creaky, Stairs and Handrails, and make them better than new.
Call/Text 215-694-5046, or email me at ronstairs@verizon.net to schedule your appointment today, and enjoy your new Stair and Handrail, very soon.
