Builder Grade Stair with Carpet Removed

We just finished this New Wood Stair With Iron Balusters in Ambler PA. The owner of this home hated his carpeted, big box builder, lumber yard grade stair, and wanted his stair and rail to match his new Brazilian cherry floors. Note the original block top newel posts we replaced with pin top posts so rail can go "over-the-post", which gives you a seamless continuous handrail from top to bottom. We pulled out the old boxed stair and installed the new double open solid Brazilian cherry stair in about 5 hours. We then started installing the upper posts and handrail the same day. The rest  of handrail installation and trim took about a week. Homeowner then had everything stained and painted, and I came back a week later and installed the final trim and iron balusters. So, if you're looking to replace your old, tired, carpeted, painted, worn, unseemly stair, and are in need of a New Wood Stair With (or without) Iron Balusters in Ambler PA (and surrounding areas, Horsham, Blue Bell, Ft Washington),  be sure to give Ron a call to schedule your FREE consultation ($250 value).

Looks like a Brand New Stair

                                                    Totally Transforms the Basement

Here we Replace the hideous old Wrought Iron Rail and carpeted stair, and replace it with this tasteful combination of painted box newels, square balusters and new oak handrail. It totally transformed their living space, upstairs and downstairs. Removing the staples was fun, and we got them out in less than a day.....bonus! If you've ever done it, you know what I'm talking about, and these were all oak, so it was doubly fun, staples don't like coming out of oak. This took about three and a half days to complete. The family took a few days and went on vacation, or visited relatives, I can't remember, but we did all the work while they were gone, (which, I think was good for everybody involved...they had two very young and two very curious boys) and came back to a brand-new foyer, stair and rail. So, If you're looking to go on vacation in next few weeks or months and want to surprise your spouse, (or yourself, for that matter), with a brand new foyer when you get back home, go ahead and schedule your FREE no-hassle consultation ($250 value) with Ron at 215-694-5046, or at the email below. Whether you need to Replace your  old Wrought Iron, or wood rail, and you're near Aston PA, Garnet Valley, or surrounding towns give me a call.

Wood Handrail With Iron Balusters Cherry Hill NJ

Double Basket Iron Balusters Every Third Baluster

Two Double Twist Iron Balusters In Between Double Baskets

Twisted Oak Newel Posts Under Continuous Oak Handrail

Wall Mounted Wall Rail Connected To Main Rake Rail Via "S" Fitting

Another All-new Wood Handrail With Iron Balusters in Cherry Hill NJ. This was another rail that was badly done when the house was new, or rail was re-done years earlier, and the homeowners hated it. It was crooked, loose, not up to code, and made the homeowners fearful for their two little ones that will be running up and down those stairs very soon. So, we ripped it out and replaced it with the twisted newel posts, that go nicely with the twisted Iron Balusters they picked out. We installed new trim pieces on side of stair called decorative stair brackets and new molding under the treads, for that finishing touch. This took about three days to install, start to finish. So, if you're in need of that stair and/or handrail update, be sure to give me a call at 215-694-5046, or use email below, to schedule your FREE no-hassle consultation (a $250 value). Besides this home in Cherry Hill, we've just completed jobs in Haddonfield, Moorestown, Gibbsboro, Mt Laurel, Marlton, Medford, and Burlington, to name a few. I was reading a trade journal the other day, and it mentioned that the average stair/rail remodel will add $15,000.00 to the value of the average home. Which got me thinking, maybe I should raise my prices.....hmmm. Well, I haven't raised them yet, so be sure to give me a call soon before my accountant changes my mind. Whether it's a Wood Handrail with Iron Balusters, all wood rail, all-new staircase, or anything in between, we do it all, if it has anything to do with wood stairs or rails.

                                                                              Before

A homeowner in Glassboro NJ with a classic L-shape stair that was in dire need of a professional Iron Baluster Installer and Stair Manufacturer contacted me and asked for help. She had been wanting to re-do her stair for a lot of years, (can't remember how many...ever since she moved in, I remember that, she always hated it.) Upon arriving, and in the course of our conversation, I could tell she was apprehensive about something. It turns out she had several contractors out to look at her project, and some of the numbers they gave her were outrageous. I assured her I had done this hundreds of times, and that I would be giving her a reasonable number, that was based on 24 years of experience doing nothing but stair and rail projects, big and small, new and old, modern and traditional, iron and wood, and everything in between. She was thrilled and very relieved that I was able to come in within budget, and within her desired time line. So we ripped out the carpet, (and the million staples), the pre-fab rail, and balusters, and installed all new. Just in time for her daughters' prom pictures on the stair, the day after I took these photos. So, if you're searching for a professional Stair Manufacturer, or Iron Baluster Installer, in and around the Glassboro, Mullica Hill, Washington Twp, Turnersville, Voorhees, or Cherry Hill area, give me a call at 215-694-5046215-694-5046, or send me an email at 45stairman@gmail.com to schedule your FREE consultation with Ron Hartman, (a $250 value.)

Stair Manufacturer Rail Installer Medford NJ

                                                     New Stair Manufacturer Medford NJ

                                                              Rail Installer Medford NJ

New Staircase rebuilt in place with new shadow boxes up the far wall

New carpet runner puts the finishing touch on staircase

Your local Stair Manufacturer Rail Installer in Medford NJ. Initially this homeowner wanted to refinish her treads (sand off old stain and restain) and have me install a new railing for her. Upon close inspection of her stair, I discovered a lot of movement in the staircase overall, and numerous treads and risers with cracks and splits all the way through the wood, making that tread very weak because it was in two, sometimes three pieces. When I see that, I know we have to gut all the treads and risers and basically rebuild a new stair in place or pull entire staircase out and replace with new, stringers and all. The stringers were in decent shape, so we gave her all new treads and risers, and new rail, post, and balusters. Ron Hartman has been restoring and repairing and replacing entire staircases and handrails for 24 years from Princeton to Paoli, and from Point Pleasant to Pottstown, and every town in between. If you notice lots of movement in your stair as you ascend and descend, be sure to give me a call and schedule your FREE consultation with your local Stair Manufacturer and Rail Installer in and around Medford NJ, at 215-694-5046215-694-5046, or email me at 45stairman@gmail.com.
