Remodel Staircase With Painted Box Newels Hardwood Treads And Handrail And Iron Balusters In Mullica Hill NJ

A recent project involved Remodeling a Staircase for a young couple in Mullica Hill, NJ. The couple wanted Painted Box Newels, Hardwood Treads, Handrails, and Iron Balusters. The project took about a week to complete, as we had to replace everything that touched the stairs - including the nosing, posts, handrail, and balusters. Safety was a top priority, especially with a little one running around. We worked around other ongoing projects in the house, and the couple was kind enough to trust us to do our job without any distractions.

Although I didn't take many before pictures, the results were impressive. The staircase looked brand new and added a touch of elegance to the home. While most of my customers trust me to do my job, it was refreshing to work with a couple who never questioned our methods.

One of the challenges was cutting off the rounded bullnose starting step on both sides at the bottom of the stair. That's why there's an unfinished part of the floor beside the post at the bottom. The painter hadn't come back to touch up that part yet. They wanted to keep everything a little more modern and square, and the round bullnose had to go.

So, If you're in need of a Staircase that needs a Remodel, you can't go wrong with the Painted Box Newels and Hardwood Handrails with Iron Balusters pictured here, and it doesn't matter if you're in Mullica Hill, or Swedesboro, or Sewell, or Glassboro or any surrounding towns, be sure to give Ron Hartman Woodwork a call at 215-694-5046 to get your FREE consultation.

New Construction Shore House Custom Stairs Box Newels and Handrails Ventnor NJ

Pictured is a New Construction Shore House project with Custom Stairs, Box Newels and Handrails in Ventnor NJ. This stair and rail was for a designer/builder in Ventnor who was building her own house. She saw a picture online and said “This is what I want”. So, that’s what she got. Classic look with stained treads and handrail and painted posts and risers and trim. I wish I could show rest of house, because she did a phenomenal job. I must say most, if not all designers are worth their salt when it comes to the wow factor. You can definitely tell when  home has been professionally decorated, versus one that‘s been done by homeowners
Classic Painted Box Newels And Balusters

Stained Hardwood Stairs And Handrails In Custom Ventnor Shore House

6 Bedrooms 7 bathrooms would be the perfect big family home or second home right on the beach in Ventnor. Lots of posts. lots of rails, lots of balusters .Lots of room for the family and friends. A pool out back adds to the fun. Nothing quite like living at the shore. For those who love the sea, surf, sand, boardwalk, fishing, sailing/boating, etc, this is the perfect vacation home or could be your main residence. If you're building a custom home give us a call, preferably before you need us. Meaning, the more notice we have the better. Many builders wait until they need the stairs and then start looking for a solution. Giving us a little more time, always helps. We have to bring in the lumber, work your stair into our shop's schedule, get it built, and get it delivered in a timely manner. All those steps take time. And the more time we have the better. There's nothing worse than getting the call from the frantic builder, who says that "We need stairs tomorrow". Sometimes we have to say "We'd love to help you, but we have customers who are expecting their stairs to be built today, and they called us in a timely manner, and we don't want to keep them waiting because you waited until the last minute to order stairs". We can usually move schedule around a bit and do what we can, but, please call ahead, and give us a little notice. If you're building  your New Construction Shore House or a  customer's dream home and you need Custom Stairs, Box Newels, and Handrails in Ventnor NJ, and surrounding towns like Margate, Longport, Ocean City, Atlantic City, or Brigantine, then give us a call at 215-694-5046, or send an email to 45stairman@gmail.com to schedule your FREE consultation with Ron, who's been solving stair and handrail issues for builders and homeowners for almost 30 years.

Now here's an example of  the Best Staircase and Railing Professionals at work in Marlton NJ. This job took a while to complete. We were on-site for @ 2 1/2 weeks total. We had to start and stop a few times because of other work going on around us, flooring, paint, trim, etc. But, I must say the finished product is beautiful. Most times the stair sections are built in a shop and then transported to site and anchored in place. On this job we had to build each section in place, for multiple reasons, and then install the box posts and rails, and balusters. The heart pine treads and flooring are stunning. Not something you see everyday. And the cherry posts and rails with the white square-top balusters just brings it all together. This house was re-done from top to bottom. Basically an all new house. The railing half-lapped on ceiling, I think is one of the cooler features of this job...and the cherry column to match the box newels was a nice touch as well, if I may say so myself. So, if you're in search of the Best Staircase and Railing Professionals in Marlton NJ, and surrounding towns like Moorestown, Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Medford, and Evesham, be sure to give Ron Hartman a call at 215-694-5046 to schedule your FREE consultation and get help designing your own magnificent stair and rail upgrade.

Custom Curved Stair Medford NJ

Front Balcony

Custom Curved Stair Medford NJ This customer loved their neighborhood and house location on the golf course, and decided to remodel and upgrade the house extensively to meet their growing family's needs.  They definitely were not in love with the entryway and stair so we replaced their L-shaped stair and the knee walls they had, with a custom built maple elliptical circular staircase that completely transformed their front entry into a grand foyer with front and back balconies overlooking the foyer and family room. Oak Stair And Rail Remodel With Iron Balusters Egg Harbor Twp NJ

Over the post rail on raised panel newel

Raised panel post and twisted iron baluster with double basket

Oak Stair And Rail Remodel With Iron Balusters Egg Harbor Twp NJ  We removed all the old posts, rail and balusters.  The floor guy came in and sanded and stained the whole first floor and staircase and installed new flooring in upstairs hallway, this took him about a week. We came back and installed posts and rail in one day.  This customer loved the look of an over the post style rail, but also wanted the boxed newel posts with raised panels.  We were able to do both for the customer and he was beyond thrilled when I told him we could do both.   This is a great custom look that you don't see that often but it looks fantastic.  After the install of rail and post, he had posts and rail stained to match the new floors.  We came back to complete the project by installing the iron balusters.  It was great to do this job with over the post rail and the customer loved the outcome.  If your stairs need remodeled and you are looking for a custom look give Ron a call at 215-694-5046 or email at 45stairman@gmail.com for your FREE consultation and you can get your very own Oak Stair And Rail Remodel With Iron Balusters, whether you live in Egg Harbor Twp NJ , Ocean City, Margate, Ventnor or Long Port and surrounding towns.

Wood Handrail With Iron Balusters Cherry Hill NJ

Double Basket Iron Balusters Every Third Baluster

Two Double Twist Iron Balusters In Between Double Baskets

Twisted Oak Newel Posts Under Continuous Oak Handrail

Wall Mounted Wall Rail Connected To Main Rake Rail Via "S" Fitting

Another All-new Wood Handrail With Iron Balusters in Cherry Hill NJ. This was another rail that was badly done when the house was new, or rail was re-done years earlier, and the homeowners hated it. It was crooked, loose, not up to code, and made the homeowners fearful for their two little ones that will be running up and down those stairs very soon. So, we ripped it out and replaced it with the twisted newel posts, that go nicely with the twisted Iron Balusters they picked out. We installed new trim pieces on side of stair called decorative stair brackets and new molding under the treads, for that finishing touch. This took about three days to install, start to finish. So, if you're in need of that stair and/or handrail update, be sure to give me a call at 215-694-5046, or use email below, to schedule your FREE no-hassle consultation (a $250 value). Besides this home in Cherry Hill, we've just completed jobs in Haddonfield, Moorestown, Gibbsboro, Mt Laurel, Marlton, Medford, and Burlington, to name a few. I was reading a trade journal the other day, and it mentioned that the average stair/rail remodel will add $15,000.00 to the value of the average home. Which got me thinking, maybe I should raise my prices.....hmmm. Well, I haven't raised them yet, so be sure to give me a call soon before my accountant changes my mind. Whether it's a Wood Handrail with Iron Balusters, all wood rail, all-new staircase, or anything in between, we do it all, if it has anything to do with wood stairs or rails.
